CIVIL DRAUGHTSMAN
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Civil Draughtsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have experience in producing high-quality technical drawings and plans for civil engineering and infrastructure projects. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings, including site layouts, roads, stormwater, sewer, and water supply designs.
- Assist engineers in developing construction drawings and documentation for infrastructure and building projects.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry and company standards and are prepared to relevant codes.
- Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements.
- Work closely with engineers, and project managers to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain and organize drawing registers, project files, and drawing archives.
Eligibility Requirements
- Grade 12
- A certificate in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit draughting
- Valid Code B/BE driver’s license
Relevant Experience
- 2+ years of experience as a Draughtsman, preferably within civil engineering
- Understanding of civil design elements, construction processes, and relevant municipal standards.
- Ability to interpret civil engineering designs and specifications.
Technical Competencies
- Microsoft Office Suite (2010 or later)
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit
Personal Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
