Burmeister & Partners is seeking a Professional, Organized, and Proactive Receptionist to join our Windhoek office.
As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will create a welcoming and professional environment while supporting our front-office operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced, professional setting and enjoy delivering exceptional client experiences, this is the role for you!
Role Overview
The Receptionist will manage front-office operations, handle incoming communication, compile documents, and assist with tender preparation. This role requires a well-presented individual with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently within a professional engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist clients, visitors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage and screen incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently
- Compile letters, reports, and other documentation as required
- Assist with tender preparation and provide administrative support for project submissions
- Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and professional reception area
- Support general office and administrative duties as required
Qualifications & Experience:
- Grade 12 certificate
- Diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or related field (advantageous)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a receptionist or front-office role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
