SHORT DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT

Design of approximately 35km of single circuit SWER line originating at 200kVA isolation substation, with 8 (eight) 16kVA and three 32kVA consumer transformers. Assist client with applications for supply and distribution licenses from ECB including management of network. Design includes largest single phase motor in Namibia (22kW) used to drive 3-phase alternator to generate 3-phase supply at farm Soetgras.

The system uses a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to select either single phase SWER supply, 3-phase supply or diesel driven generator.

The system includes provision for conventional metering and billing.
