SHORT DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT

A large area within the Luanda City Centre was identified by the client for the first phase of the Luanda City Centre Development (LCCD). The need for this project which comprises hotels, banks, commercial and residential buildings, came about as part of the larger drive to invigorate the city of Luanda. LCCD will provide the impetus within the commercial hub of the city by providing accommodation, facilities and services to businesses.

Burmeister & Partners was asked to put together a proposal. A concept development with several project proposals was tabled. Though still in the concept phase the LCCD project, when it comes to fruition, will change not only Luanda’s skyline, but also its future.

The client requested us to make a development proposal for a multi purpose high rise building in the City Centre of Luanda.
