SHORT DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT

Feasibility Study and Report on the development of a 300 ha irrigation project based on various crop-and irrigation models including a financial analysis. Detail design, contract documentation and site supervision for an Emergency Scheme, supplying water to 300m radius centre pivots (4-off) through a temporary river pump station and a 3km long pumpline, ranging from ø700mm to ø500mm. The final scheme comprises of a 4,5km long pumpline (ø800mm - ø600) and a 3km gravity line (ø600mm - ø200mm), including a 5 000m; geotextile lined earth storage reservoir. The permanent pump station comprises of 4 pumps, each delivering 220l/s at 90m head.
